Will my travel insurance cover me if my trip is delayed?
Travel delay – should your travel be delayed due to a valid reason beyond your control you will be compensated up to a maximum of £300.

Holiday abandonment – should you have to cancel your holiday due to a delay of more than 24 hours which is beyond your control you can claim up to £2,000 with a Standard policy (£75 excess) and £5,000 with a Premium policy (£50 excess).
